ROMEOVILLE, Ill. – The Maryville track and field teams wrapped up the Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) Outdoor Track & Field Championships in Romeoville, Ill. today, with Lewis University acting as host for this year's meet. The Saints saw a sixth-place finish in both the men's and women's side. On the women's side, the Saints tallied two medalists, one in the 100 meter and one in the 4x100 meter relay.

For the men's the top finish was
Kanden Bolton in the long jump with him finishing second as one of four top-three placers.

Sarai Brown tallied the lone individual medal for the women's team, placing second in the 100 meter with a timed of 11.61. She later joined in on the 4x100 alongside
Makayla Myers,
Chloe Davis and
Emoni Owens to place second with a  time of 45.98.

For the men's team, Bolton's leap of 7.36 landed him second in the long jump.
Giovanni Jones led the sprinters with a third place finish in the 100 meters. He was joined in the podium club by
Ladarius Williams who placed third in the 110-meter hurdles with a mark of 14.57. The highlight was the 4x100 team of Vindero Lightfoot,
Giovanni Jones, Williams, Kableb Jett rallying together for a bronze with a time of41.74
