CHESTERFIELD, Mo. – The Maryville University ACHA Women's 1 team has its sight set on building off of it's 2023-24 campaign. Finishing as the No. 5 team in the country, but with an early exit in the national tournament, the Saints will play a heavy schedule this season, including majority of the top-15 in the rankings from last season.
Maryville will look to play a few new faces this year against Niagara, Arizona, Lake Superior State and Michigan. Also coming to the Maryville University Hockey Center will be the Sundevils of Arizona State. That matchup has some extra flavor behind it with the Saints looking to redeem their loss in the 2024 National tournament to the Sundevils.
Some other key road match ups this season will be Midland who the Saints still chase their first victory against. The Saints will also be traveling to Adrian to take on the 2024 National Champions. Coach Lange is very excited and thrilled to be playing in the first ever midnight madness game at Liberty University.
"We are excited about all our opponents this season and can't wait to see everyone at the rink," Coach Lange said. "This will be the best team we've had on paper so I can't wait to see them in action."
