Box Score HENDERSONVILLE, TENN. – In a battle of nationally-ranked teams, No. 12 Maryville pushed No. 3 Lenoir-Rhyne into overtime before the Bears prevailed 13-12. The Bears had the first possession of OT but Saints goalie
Dylan Radke made the save. However, LR kept possession and converted the ensuing chance for the game-winning goal 43 seconds into the extra session.
Jake Grebe powered the Saints with four goals and two assists.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Bears scored the first goal of the game before Jack Grebe and
Connor Kvaal tallied to put the Saints on top 2-1. Lenoir-Rhyne took the lead into the second but
Clayton Cerett scored for a 3-3 tie. The Bears retook the lead at 7-4.
Justin Simonson pulled one score just before halftime to make it 7-5.

LR opened the second half with two goals before the Saints made a huge push with five straight goals.
Chris Anderson tallied a goal before man-up scores by
Ben Mickett and
Colin Tobias, all in a 51-second span, drew the Saints to within 9-8. Mickett tied the game in the early in the fourth, and Grebe completed a hat trick to give the Saints a 10-9 lead at the 12:54 mark. The Bears went back up 11-10 but Simonson fired in another score to make it 11-11. Grebe put the Saints on top 12-11 off a feed from Simonson with 3:59 to play. LR responded to pull back level at 12-12 with 2:05 remaining. The Saints had an attempt in the final minute but the shot was saved. LR held the ball for a late chance but the Maryville kept the Bears off the board to force overtime.
