Luke Kraft hammered down 23 kills while hitting .512 to power the Maryville men's volleyball team to a 3-1 victory at Rockhurst and a sweep of the Hawks. The Saints prevailed 22-25, 25-21, 28-26, 25-22 to sweep the doubleheader in Kansas City. Kraft's 23 kills are tied for the fourth most in program history.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Hawks took the opening set but the Saints bounced right back to even the match. Set two was tied at 21-all before the Saints tallied the final four points. After an RU error,
Makai Scott put down a kill. The Hawks committed back-to-back hitting errors to claim a 25-21 win.

In the third set, neither team led by more than three points as the contest moved into extra points. Tied at 26-26, Kraft had a kill for set point, and Scott delivered the winner at 28-26. The fourth set saw the Saints up 16-14 before scoring four of the next five points. Kraft and
David Fleischer had kills for a 19-15 edge. An RU error followed by a solo block by Fleischer built a 21-16 lead. The Saints won the match as Rockhurst committed a hitting error on the final point.
