Box Score LIBERTY, MO. – The No. 11 Maryville men's lacrosse team opened Great Lakes Valley Conference play with a dominating 20-4 victory at William Jewell. The Saints scored the first six goals of the game to lead the contest whistle-to-whistle.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Brenden Bloedel opened the scoring five minutes into the game, and
Justin Simonson doubled the advantage.
Ben Mickett tallied shortly after and
Shea Raeburn converted the ensuing faceoff into a goal.
Eli Wingbermuehle found the back of the net, and a
Luke Chorlton goal late in the opener made it 6-0.

The host Cardinals scored their lone goal of the half before the Saints tacked on four more scores in the second quarter.
Trent Zimay started the run, and Bloedel fired his second into the net.
Jake Grebe scored in the waning seconds as the Saints went up 10-1 at intermission.
The Saints dominated the second half equally by scoring 10 of the 12 goals after halftime to take the conference opener. Mickett scored to open the third, and after Jewell finally scored again, the Saints reeled off five straight.
Griffin Johnson scored twice in the fourth quarter and added one assist as the Saints salted the game away.
