Luke Kraft and
Makai Scott both reached double figures in kills as the Maryville men's volleyball team extended its winning streak to seven with a 3-1 decision over Missouri S&T. The Saints prevailed 18-25, 25-21, 28-26, 25-20. Kraft had 17 kills while Scott finished with 14.
AJ Robateau had nine kills and hit .533 in the contest.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Miners had their highest hitting percentage of the match in set one while the Saints had their lowest as the visitors took set one.

Up 12-11, the Saints scored four of the next five points to grab a 16-12 edge, capped by a Kraft kill. The Miners had two errors with a kill by Scott as Maryville went up 19-13. Missouri S&T got within three points but Robateau's kill ended the set at 25-21.

Set three was close throughout and the Miners inched ahead 20-18. The Saints tied the score at 21-all but the visitors took a 23-21 margin. After a Scott kill and a Miner error,
Tristan Benbow put down a kill for set point. The score was tied two more times, the last at 26-26. Scott hammered down a kill, and a block by
Ethan Beyreis-Heim and Robateau gave the Saints a 28-26 decision.

The Miners jumped ahead early in set four and built a 12-6 edge. The Saints roared back with five straight points. Down 13-11, the Saints took their first lead after a kill by Kraft, a block by Benbow and Kraft and a Scott kill for a 14-13 advantage. The score was deadlocked at 16-16 before Robateau had a kill and a solo block, and
Cameron Lee followed for a kill and a 19-16 cushion. The Miners scored before Robateau put down a kill. After a Missouri S&T error, Alex Engles served an ace for a 22-17. The visitors got within 23-20 but Benbow and Scott had consecutive kills to close out the match.
