EDWARDSVILLE, ILL. -
Ilene Limberg was the overall race winner for the Maryville women's cross country team at the Gabby Reuveni Invitational hosted by WashU to begin the 2025 campaign. She ran the 5K distance in 18:24.1 to win by more than five seconds at SIUE's cross country course. Maryville recorded 38 team points as WashU narrowly held on for the team title with 23 points of the five competing schools.

Lyric Ford was fourth overall as she clocked a time of 18:31.7, while
Mallorie Metzger was third for Maryville and 14thth in 19:06.1.
Maddie Marschel took 19ththt place with a 19:18.8, and
Emma Neal was the final scorer in fifth for the Saints at 19:40.5.
Fatimah Almamori recorded a time of 19:49.7, while
Olivia Clive came home in 20:49.0.
