Maryville Men's Lacrosse Begins 2026 Ranked Fourth in USILA Preseason Poll

The Maryville men's lacrosse team begins the 2026 season ranked No. 4 in the preseason United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association's Division II top 20 poll. Last season, the Saints set a school record with 14 wins, claimed the Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) tournament championship and received their second straight bid to the NCAA Tournament. Maryville advanced all the way to the NCAA national semifinals before seeing their run end at No. 1 Tampa.

Led by USILA Division II National Coach of the Year Scott Stark, the Saints return GLVC Defensive Player of the Year John Chorlton as well as USILA All-Americans Ben Mickett, Shea Raeburn and Justin Simonson. Maryville was picked by the GLVC head coaches to finish first in the 2026 conference standings.

The Saints begin the 2026 season at home against Davenport Saturday, Feb. 7, at the Maryville Athletic Complex in an 11 a.m. contest. The GLVC opener is Monday, March 23, when William Jewell comes to town.
