A trio of Maryville men's lacrosse standouts were named 2026 United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association Preseason All-Americans. Senior attack Justin Simonson was a first-team All-American selection, while senior LSM John Chorlton and senior faceoff specialist Shea Raeburn were chosen for the All-American second team.
 
Last season, Simonson was a USILA second-team All-American selection after leading the Saints in goals (40), assists (43) and points (83). He scored at least two points in 18 games on the season. Chorlton was the GLVC Defender of the Year and led the league's top defense which ranked eighth nationally in scoring defense. A second-team All-American last season, Chorlton had 37 caused turnovers and 75 ground balls on the year. Raeburn led Maryville at the faceoff dot with 160 wins and recorded a .565 winning percentage. He added six goals and led the team with 94 ground balls while earning honorable mention All-American honors.
 
Maryville begins the 2026 season ranked No. 4 in the preseason USILA Division II top 20 poll. Last season, the Saints set a school record with 14 wins, claimed the Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) tournament championship and received their second straight bid to the NCAA Tournament, advancing all the way to the national semifinals.
 
The Saints begin the 2026 season at home against Davenport Saturday, Feb. 7, at the Maryville Athletic Complex in an 11 a.m. contest. The GLVC opener is Monday, March 23, when William Jewell comes to town.
