Summary
The Maryville men's basketball team recorded its seventh straight victory, the longest streak since the 1998-99 season, with an 88-65 victory over Eureka. Maryville's 10-2 mark ties for the best record after 12 games with the 2012-13 squad.

What Happened
The Saints bolted to a 15-0 lead by holding the Red Devils scoreless for nearly five minutes.
Casey Teson and
Forrester Sims opened the game with buckets, and
Nolan Berry scored inside followed by a
Jimmy Barton 3-pointer.
Robin Thompson had two straight baskets with a Jones layup giving the Saints the 15-0 lead. Later in the half, Barton scored on a drive, and
Grant Sims converted a layup. A Barton 3-pointer was good for a 45-24 lead as Maryville claimed a 49-28 advantage at the break.

The Saints scored the first seven points in the second half break the game open. Teson and Thompson scored, and a triple by Teejay Bogan build a 56-28 cushion. Maryville pushed the edge to as much as 68-38 on a Forrester Sims 3-pointer with 12 minutes to play. The advantage never shrunk below 20 the rest of the way as the Saints cruised.
