Pontus Gitselov notched a brace to bolster the Maryville University men's soccer team to its second straight 3-0 triumph, this time over NSCAA preseason No. 17 Lindenwood, Wednesday afternoon in exhibition play at Maryville Field.

How it Happened
In the 15th minute,
Joergen Pettersen floated a restart into the Lindenwood box, and Gitselov headed the ball into the net for a 1-0 lead.

After the Saints hit the woodwork twice,
Helgi Jonsson doubled Maryville's lead with a strike seven minutes before halftime.

In the 68th minute of play, Gitselov struck again as he collected a ball on the right side, dribbled to the middle of the field and fired in a shot for a 3-0 advantage.
Christian Kjaersgaard went the distance in goal for the Saints and kept the clean sheet in keeping Lindenwood off the board.
