What Happened
Truman scored to trim the Maryville lead to four but
Grant Sims hit a runner in the lane for a 65-59 advantage with 5:10 to play. The Bulldogs sank a 3-pointer before Berry split a pair at the line for a 66-63 edge. Truman tied the game at 66-all.
Casey Teson drilled a wing 3-pointer for a 69-66 lead with 3:15 remaining.
Forrester Sims had a layup and two Berry free throws were good for a 73-68 cushion at the 1:24 mark. The visitors made three free throws to get back to within 73-72. Maryville converted one free throw with 3.9 ticks left for a 74-72 lead before Truman's late heroics broke the Saints' five-game winning streak.
