The Maryville wrestling team had nine selections to the 2022-23 Great Lakes Valley Conference All-Wrestling Team as announced by the league.
Tyler Stegall was a unanimous first-team selection at 149, while
Joey Williams shared shared first-team honor at 184 pounds. In addition, Williams was Maryville's nominee for the James R. Spalding Sportsmanship Award.

Tyler Stegall has posted 16 wins on the season while Williams has been a standout at 184 with a 19-7 mark and is ranked 11th in the nation.Homfeld has an overall record of 21-7, while Jokerst has amassed an 18-6 mark and is ranked eighth in latest national ranking. Heil has piled up 18 victories this year, while Herman has been one of the top heavyweights this season with a 22-8 record. Whitted has one of the top winning percentages on the squad at .846 (11-2) and is ranked tenth nationally in his weight class. Ritter has recorded a 17-6 slate, while
Chase Stegall totes a 13-5 mark this season.
