QUINCY, Ill. – Maryville women's bowling is Great Lakes Valley Conference Champions once again! The No. 1-seeded Saints won four-straight contests, including two over No. 3-seed Oklahoma Christian to claim the title.

The Saints, after dropping the traditional leg of the championship bout, rattled off a 1093-1036 baker victory to force the best-of-seven. That is where, after falling down 3-1, the Saints rattled off four-straight baker victories to claim the league title.

This is the second title as head coach for Lauren Russo, who alongside Elizabeth Teuber, swept the All-GLVC major honors.

DAY 2

They started by putting up the highest single-round score of the tournament in traditional play, a mark of 1080 to OC's 862. That was not all as the Dawgs did it again in their baker sets, unleashing a 1109 total for the win and the spot in Sunday's final.
