Maryville University Athletics

He was a four-year varisty basketball and baseball player. Served as basketball team captain in 1977-78 and 1978-79 seasons and was the graduate assistant during the 1979-80 season. He was a member of the first team recognized by the NCAA at Maryville. Statistically, his best season was 1977-78 when he scored 169 points and added 173 assists.
