She was inducted posthumously. Katie was a four-year letterwinner in basketball and softball. In softball, she was an Honorable Mention All-Conference selection in 1990 and First-team All-Conference in 1991 and 1992.

In basketball, she won the Top Freshman Award in 1989 and team MVP in 1992. She scored 857 career points and also had 539 rebounds and 162 blocks.
