She played field hockey and basketball. She served as President of the Women's Athletic Association and was named Best Athlete of the Year in 1947. She was also named to the reserves of the Midwest Hockey during the Midwest Field Hockey Tournament held in St. Louis in 1946. In addition, she was a member of the first St. Louis Hockey Club.
