She was a four-year starter and letterwinner in softball and soccer. She was also a four-time team MVP in softball and No. 1 pitcher all four years. She was selected as outstanding freshman on the soccer team in 1982 and won sportsmanship awards from 1983-85. Patti served as the team captain for soccer in 1984 and 1985 and was named to the West Region Academic All-American team in 1985.
